My Chiana

I have a dog named Chiana and she is a female Pomeranian. She may only be  12 pounds. She thinks she's a lot bigger than she really is, but I don't have the heart to tell her.

I usually take her to this park called Ben Geren and there are trails for walking and for biking in these woods.

One day we went off the bike trail and walked in between this clearing with woods on both sides and about nearly 100 yards away I saw 5 or 6 deers.
Well, it didn't take Chiana to take off and go after them. Of course I went after her, but since I have asthma, I couldn't run as much. By the time I got
there, Chiana and the deers were no where in sight. She went in the woods
after them and I spent probably 10 minutes or so calling her name.

It was getting a little bit dark, but I could still see. A few minutes later, Chiana finally showed herself all out of breath. I was upset at her, but relieved that she showed up. As we made our way out of the woods, I held
onto her leash and never let go because I didn't want to go through that again. I just don't want to be attacked by asthma because of the silliness of my little dog, Chiana.By the way, this isn't the first time she's done this.

A brave little dog who I still haven't had the heart to tell her she's not as big as she thinks she is.

It's my faith that sustains me.

The Bible says that at least we have a faith like mustard seed. Mustard seed is a small grain, yet when it grows it becomes big. The small mustard seed was a parallel on how our faith grows. I was just a new Christian that had a hunger and thirst to know Jesus. I met Him in an un-expected place. The time I invested to know Him was not in vain. By the time I needed  His divine mercy and guidance, He used people of different nationalities at different locations and time.

I was on my death bed in one of the clinics in Paris as I was given only 10 days more to live. But His words gave me life as I was reading the Bible. He also used people to send me His messages. He used the owner of the clinic to BE A CHANNEL OF FINANCES. And He used my French doctor to keep me alive. God is an artist. God is an administrator. God is a giver. God is a miracle working God. God is all in all.

The verse that hit me most is Isaiah 60:1- Arise, shine for your light has come. I asked God what does this mean. I was dying and how can I arise when I am in so much pain?  I didn't understand. The second verse that hit  me was the one given to me by my church mate when he called me the evening before the day of my surgery.

He said, Sister, don't worry.IF God opens the door no one can shut and if He closes the door no one can open.

Those words became Rhema to me. My hope rose to the highest level. My hope is God! He is superior and the sickness is just a peanut to Him. By accepting and believing and putting my trust to Him, the result is my divine healing, my medical bill was paid and I am now enjoying second life to Him both second physical life and my second spiritual life!!!!!!Hallelujah

The unwanted ailment caused me try trading my soul to satan

I was 21 when I felt the pain in my right jaw. I thought it was just a simple toothache. I was working in Zilog Philippines by that time. I just ignored it but I felt I have the fever every afternoon, so I went over to our company clinic again. The company nurse suspected there was something more than the normal  toothache so she gave me a referral slip to take the mandibular X-ray. After I received the result, the doctor explained to me the diagnosis and that I need a major surgery. A situation that I wasn't prepared of emotionally, physically but most of all financially.

At 21, young and full of ambition,  all I have in mind  was to find a good job to start a new chapter in my life as all I have in my heart was to repay my parents' sacrifices in sending me to college. I want a job that can sustain me and as a normal human being, at least I can buy what I want to make my joy complete. I had just started, but I haven't gone too long to my employment. Just I thank God that I was already  a year woking in that company and the medical expenses were paid by the company plus the Industrial manager of the company was from Pangasinan,  same as mine.Motivated by mercy, he was able to approve some finances for my favor so I have an extra fund for my medicine and post operation follow-up and check ups.

The surgery caused me to resign from the company I was working with. I desired to also have a family in the future but the ailment changed my life. Out of desperation, during my solitude,  I was crying out like a crazy person, crying out to God for my healing and when I didn't see the manifestation, I cried out to satan, trading my soul in exchange of the beauty to be restored. Satan didn't reply me. Everyday was like a hell, I was hopeless and thinking to commit suicide out of desperation. God spared me for a reason and I got the chance to go to Paris,France by the help of my sister. From there, I received the saving miracle of God and the miracle of my second life.

To God be the glory!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gardening as my hobby and exercise

Gardening is a good form of exercise and with lots of benefits like the pleasure of having a green thumb,  a good reason to stay under the early sunshine and a good source of FAITH=Food Always In The Home. My parents are farmers. Since my childhood I was already exposed in hard agricultural work and in tending and pasturing our animals. So no wonder that gardening is also a passion to me. I have 1000- sq.meter plot and 80 square meter is where my house built. So there is a remaining of more or less 800 sq.meters to plant both fruit bearing and flower bearing plants. I always divide my time with all my works like tending my goats, feeding my fowls and my other household chores like cooking, washing my laundry and house keeping. Everyday, except when I go out to buy for my necessity, I spend my time planting and watering my plants.

It gives a smile on my face when I can already see my plants  start to bear fruits, or my flower bearing plants start to show buds of flowers.I just enjoy giving some energy in planting than just sitting in front of the computer. Besides the pleasure of gardening, the vegetables give me more fresh fruits because most of them are organic.

The vegetables that are easiest to plant but yield more vitamins are malunggay and sweet potatoes. In the Philippines, we eat the sweet potatoe tops. We boiled and make a salad out of it.We also mix or cooked with stewed pork meat or beef or even with fish.

Gardening is a form of exercise with good benefits because it takes a lot of movements to do so. Sweating a lot can drain the toxic we have in our bodies. It is fun to dig soil and it is far better than to stay overtime in front of the computer.....

I am forced to drive

Caaringayan is one of the twenty barangays of our small town of Laoac. This town is the youngest in the Philippines and it was taken from the municipality of Manaoag. Laoac was formerly the biggest barangay of Manaoag. Since this barangay rendered the biggest revenue to the municpality of Manaoag,  the residents
suggested to make this as a town. The current mayor by that time paid attention and exerted every effort for the approval for this barangay to become a  town. And in the year of 1981, after  long  so much works and proofs that this barangay is qualified,  Laoac began to be a town.

My barangay is just a a kilometer away from the town proper. The means of transportation are both private and public vehicles. But since people began to buy motor bikes, tricycles become scarce to pass by. Tricycle is the only means of public transportation in our community. This type of vehicle can only accommodate 6 passengers plus the driver. This is the reason that I was forced to buy a motorbike so I have my own transportation when I need to go to church or to do some errands.

At first I was a bit scared to drive because my motor is quite big and heavy compared to my height . I fell down a couple of times. These incidents caused my fear and embarrassment because one Sunday, I was just learning to drive alone, I was on my way going to our church for the Sunday Service. I was at the intersection and waiting my way to cleared. I must be alert of the vehicles coming on both sides and also from my back. When I thought everything was clear, I started to accelerate, unknowingly there was a motor coming from my left and I also should turn left. I was afraid to be hit so I braked suddenly that caused me to fall down.Shamed, because I was in a skirt as our church required all the leaders and workers to dress modestly for the service. But I must conquer my fear because I need to drive alone as I must go to our Sunday service and other church activities.

As time passes by I am learning the technique of two-wheeled driving. And I enjoy driving every time I go out. Still, no matter how experienced driver a person is, I  must learn to be cautious and alert all the time because I only have one life.

The Sheep and the goats

Matthew 25:31-46

New International Version (NIV)
The Sheep and the Goats
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

The signs of Jesus' second coming are evidently undeniable like to name some are earthquakes, backsliding, rumors of wars and many others. The series of earthquakes around the globe is very scary. The Bible says don't be afraid just keep the trust. But sometimes I admit I am fearful when the earthquake is coming or coming again, how strong will be, in what season? Will it be during dry season or rainy season. Will it happen during night time or day time? The thought of this can't be removed from my mind. The thought of being alone added to my fears..

If Jesus is coming any moment from now, am I ready? Which side He will classify me? Is it on the side of the sheep or the goats? Well, this is the question to myself?

I just realized I need to do more for the kingdom. I need to really exert effort to pray for the salvation of my family and for others. And I must learn to really be submissive to my superiors. Be obedient and be doers of the word of God.

Family trip to Baguio

Baguio is located north of the Philippines. A city situated on top of mountains that has " a spring time weather", not so cold and not so hot. It is  now summer in the Philippines and it is very, very hot hitting the  hottest temperature ever recorded this year is 36 degrees Celsius. So my sister and her fiance decided to have
a one-day cool off from our hometown and we have  an un-planned family trip to Baguio for a change.
It was  an eye catching the beautiful mountain scenery as we passed by. The big rocks that are keeping the mountains from eroding, the piled green trees used as belts, but what I like most as the van traveled was the cold breeze making our feelings better.

We went to Burnham Park, this is the common meeting place for the people to relax and to stroll to deprive the day's depression and to some is to kill the boredom just sitting there watching the passers and seeing the beautiful flowers planted around. Some go there to sell anything that can generate income, even the thieves and the pick pocketers are also there to make an easy money, eyeing for easy victims. Burnham Park has a man made lake.Since we had an ample time we decided to go boating and we had just  a half  hour boating thrill roaming around this little man-made lake.

Later on, the family decided to go to SM Baguio. SM is a chain of big and beautiful malls in the Philippines owned by the richest Filipino billionaire. Then at past 5 pm we headed home. Nice to have a cool change even just for one day. Hope to have another next time...

I must listen

One day, when I was working in Israel as a caregiver, my boss asked me to make some errands. She told me to pass by the bank where her son was working, to get some money and to buy things for the house. She changed her mind later and she asked me instead to go to a smaller market-store to buy for our need and to pass at the health center to buy her medicines. Instead of going to buy at the store, I changed my mind, after buying her medicines. I decided to go to the city to do  the shopping there.vI wanted to go to the city with my intention to pass by at the bank to get some money from her son. I did this for fear that she might not give my weekly allowance for my day-off.

While waiting for the bus heading to the city, there was a battle in my mind. Whether I proceed to go to the city or just go to the nearby department store. I, then decided to board the bus going to the city.

It was already 12 o'clock at midday  and the bank was already closed so I wasn't able to meet her son. I didn't want to wait another hour because I was already hungry and tired. It was the Jewish Feast of Succoth or Feast of Booth or Feast of Tabernacles, so the the city was crowded and oh, every where I can see the trash the people threw.

On my way going to get the bus, I was walking at the edge of the road, I just didn't notice a long, transparent plastic and I stepped on it. With my back pack full of fruits and vegetables, and  a plastic bag each in my hands. I was out balanced and I fell forward and my body and back pack weight over my leg and foot. And after that, my foot became numbed so I already knew that it was broken.

The lesson I learned from this incident is that, I must be sensitive enough to the warning of the Holy Spirit. He used my boss to warn me, but instead I ignored Him and I suffered the consequence of being insensitive to the warning signs.

My trip to the Dead Sea,the lowest part of the earth

I got up early morning as I was so excited to have this guided tour paid my boss as a gift for the good service I rendered for his mother. The meeting place was at the hotel down near Kiryat Moshe,Jerusalem where I used to work. Since the hotel is located a few blocks down  I descended till I reached the hotel. I went down early because I didn't want to miss the tour. I was so excited!

The trip included Mount of Olives, Masada and the Dead Sea. We first went to the Mount of Olives. It is a fantastic view. Mount of Olive is well known in the Bible as the place where Jesus was last seen and ascended to heaven. This is the best place to stop and stand  if you want to see the New Jerusalem and the Old city of Jerusalem and to see the valleys near the old city. In between the Mount of Olive and the Old city of Jerusalem, there is an old cemetery where in, according to the Jewish or Israelis, the Matriach and the Patriach were laid to rest. After  a few shots of the cam,  the driver and our tour guide at the same time called us on board for another trip and this time to Masada.

To go to Masada we must  pass the same road going to the Dead Sea. Along the way we stopped at the nearest mall. At the backyard there was one big cute camel for ride. Of course it was not for free. Hence I have the rare opportunity to see a camel personally and at the same time the chance to ride so this time I made sure to do it.. OMG! It was fun!! After few minutes we were called to proceed to our journey.

The driver preferred to bring us first to Masada, this is a place on top of a mountain and located south of the Dead Sea and around 20-minute drive by bus. The only way to go there is by cable car. Just wondering how the ancient people were able to live and brought their things up there. As we did in the Mount of Olive, after more than two hours on top of the mountain and several cam clicks, the guide called us to board into our bus.

Then time to head to the Dead Sea. I didn't know that part of the trip was to go to the SPA at the Dead Sea Beach. I didn't bring anything except what I was wearing. In this trip, I met Magda Cracknell from South Africa and we became friends. She's an awesome woman, kind and beautiful. And we went together all along and talked together. We became friends and for this reason we shared the locker for our belongings.

It was fun swimming with Magda and with the other tourists boarded in our bus. It was an early summer and so many tourists both locals and foreigners. The Dead Sea is 10x saltier than the other seas. The excessive saltiness of the water cause a person to float but just be careful to accidentally put water in the eyes. And we just enjoyed the sea. Because I don't know  how to swim, I always shared the floating tire and I thank God I just floated automatically too.

Our time was limited and the guide told us to leave at around 3 pm so we can arrive in Jerusalem at 5 pm. Every one rushed into our respective lockers. Magda was fine and easily changed her clothes after rinsing but I got a big problem!!  I was not able to find my legging. Problem because I didn't have the extra clothes to wear. The time was almost close to go on board so I asked Magda to buy me a legging from the shop up there. Thank God! She was able to find one for me because she said there were only two to choose from. This friend of mine saved me from shame as I can't walk along the road of Jerusalem with just a towel on.  Kiryat Moshe where I was staying  is  a mixed neighborhood of  the secular, modern orthodox and the haredim. But this trip is a fantastic one with lots of memories and a friendship that made.

My visit to the old city of Jerusalem

This trip is one of the 4 guided tours of my boss' paid gift tours. Although I already went to the Old city maybe less than a hundred times,  this trip was terrific. With the guide and the pretty explanation, I learned about the history of the places we went and the entrees and exits. If you aren't familiar of  the way, the streets and outlets surely you get lost.
Well, it was an honor to set foot and visiting the places where Jesus walked while He was on on earth. We went to the Bethesda pool, where in Jesus' time a sick person must be thrown to the pool for his healing. Then we  pass by the via Dolorosa,  here Jesus carried His cross to the Calvary. After that,  we went to the Wailing Wall. This is the place where the Jewish people pray if they have especial request to our Yahweh.

The old city is just like 4,000 years ago.The wall are still in almost original structure except to some necessary repairs. There are some places of the old city where it is called Jewish quarter,  the other is Christian quarter and the other is the Arab quarter. We also visited where the Temple used to be and it is called Temple Mount. Now the dome of the Rock had been built over that area. On this site is sacred for both Jewish and Arab people. This is also the root of quarrels between two sons of  Abraham, the root of two religion quarrels.

I love Jerusalem. This is the center of Israel and Israel is the center of the world.

My French Doctor

It wasn't good. I just preferred to stay in my room than to attend our weekly meeting. I called the Rohi Department of my intention and Sis Merle, who was the head by that time approved. I thought by staying quietly and praying earnestly would make my situation better. I thought God will give what I was longing for>> my divine healing. This ailment put me in terrible pain and discomfort and been hurting me for years.

Now it came to a point that I felt that the medicines were no longer  effective. The infection didn't subside, worst, I wasn't able  to eat anymore nor swallow any liquid. My throat was swollen and forbidding any sort of food to swallow. My friend took me to the doctor and we were glad we found someone. God is good  because he was one of the best Stomatologist in France.

Dr. Princ was kind and understanding French doctor. I owe him a lot. God used him to heal me physically and he was the vessel God used so that my medical bill be paid. And I never met such a human being like him. He never asked for his prefessional fee for the surgery and same thing with the consultation. I had four surgeries  under his hands and all  four, he helped me with my financial difficulty.  I never met such a merciful, helpful and understanding doctor in my life. Thank you very much Dr. Guy Princ. You are always in my heart and I keep you in my prayers.....

Neilly sur Seine in France

During my stay over seas, most of the time I was alone. During my 12 year-stay in France I used to rent a room in Neuilly sur Seine, near Bagatelle, a very nice suburb of Paris. There is a man made lake nearby and a botanical garden, full of different colored tulips and I think a hundred varieties of roses. As I remember, during spring many people just come to the beautiful parks of Neuilly. There is also an area where they can practise football.

Every spring until summer, I used to bring my niece to Jardins des Acclimation. We were playing and riding on the caterpillar, train that encircles the jardins and the other rides that were available. We also used to have picnic there near at the man-made lake and just spent quietly sleeping under the shades of the tree or were just playing cards or other sort of games. We did play and eat alternately.

Aside from the beautiful scenery, Neuilly sur Seine is considered the millionaires' place .Majority of the residents own their big beautiful houses and majority of the residents are dignitaries. This  rich neighborhood  is also where the American Hospital  located. On the other side, there is a part of the river where the boat houses are allowed to stay. As we all know the French people are also adventurous. Some preferred to live in the boat houses. Neuilly Sur Seine is a beautiful  place to stay and to visit..

My foremost personal desire

I was born again in August 3,1985. The term born again is found in John 3:3 as a pre-requisite  to obtain an eternal life. The explanation as to how and why  is explained on the following or next verses. Salvation is free and easy to acquire but to walk a holy life and obeying God's word is hard. We need to invest time to learn His Word and our changes can't happen overnight.

God's Word is the Truth. It's the Way to the eternal life. It has power for those who believe. God is a Spirit so He talks and speaks to us through his Holy Spirit by connecting to our human spirits. There are many do and don'ts in the kingdom of God. We  must exercise our choices and the choices are either to obey or dis-obey,.to listen or to ignore.

As a christian,  I want the best for my life. I am getting old and I've been alone through out my life. I do believe that God will give the best man for me. Nothing is impossible with God and nothing is impossible with those who believe. I believe in God and I do also believe that I can receive what I am praying for. God is a God of miracle, a prayer answering God, a merciful God and a powerful God. I do believe He gave me the best man as I see it in the spirit realm. I just wait for the time in the very near future that He will bring the one for me in the natural  because He is the author and perfecter of my faith. Amen

My Passion>>>Traveling to different places in France

I do like traveling. To travel means that money is also involved. France is one of the most beautiful countries I like most aside from my own country. It is a rich country known for the quality champagne and wine production. I do like their chocolates and food as well. Several delicious choco makers I tasted are Lenotre, Hediard and many others I need to recall. Well, we all know that  expensive perfumes, bags, clothes and other accessories are France's unbeatable pride.

Speaking of traveling, everytime I heard that a group of Filipinos intend to go to another place I always told  them to count me in. Starting from the south, I can recall the trips. I and 2 friends went to Corsica for summer nanny job. Corsica is an island in the south of France but it is more close to Italy by distance. People there speak both Italian and French.

Another place in the south I went to were Nice and Cannes. Really awesome! I went there with my bosses together with a friend. My boss gave us the chance to attend  the Cannes Film festival which was on going by that time we had the summer break. It was a privilege to go there come to think that those attendees were rich, famous, celebrities and dignitaries..

Another place I admired is Lourdes which is located in south western France and bordering with Portugal I guess. It is a unique place having the cave for underground travel exploration and a mount to climb either by foot or by a train.

Another place I didn't forget is Normandy that is known for Dday. And going farther north is the Eurodisney.Wow! Everything there is expensive but it was fun and great experience to be there, riding with all those rides the theme park could offer.

France is also rich for historical land marks like that of Eiffel Tower. It was awesome to reach the top most of the tower, watching the beautiful sceneries of the city of Paris and as far as the eyes could see. After the Eiffel Tower, there was also the Bateau Mousse, which is another fun ride to experience.

I was also indeed happy to go and have some mallings and strolling in La Defense. Another place that is good to see is the Pyramid.....Wow I just realized that I have lots of places I went to, and it is only now I made the counting. Thank God for the sweet memories I experienced in this beautiful country of France.

It's more fun in the Philippines

Just I noticed nowadays that there are a lot of mix-raced marriages in our municipality. They are building big beautiful, modern houses that make the community obvious of its changes. I just wonder why those foreigners prefer to stay or live in our country when in fact theirs are more advanced and their governments are far better than ours. Philippines was ruined economically by the previous corrupt government officials.

There are many places here to go to have some funs.We have the San Fabian Beach. This is the nearest beach and a place where the common people can go to have some funs  in swimming and jet skiing.

The other beach is Tondaligan Beach in Dagupan city. A city after San Fabian. The beach has beautiful sand and nice to go along for strolling.
The Lingayen Gulf is also another beach to go.It is a very clean beach with free cottages there. There are also small stores allocated by the government  to sell some street foods.
The other pride of Pangasinan is the cluster of 100 islands and islets. The sand there is as clear as crystal and the water is very clear and clean. I just enjoyed and cherished the trip there. I want to go back but I just don't know as to when?

Our family re-union

Waking up at 3 a.m is too early for me.Anyway, just only once in awhile sacrifice.I,together with my mother,my nephew and my niece prepared to go to Manila at NAIA to fetch my sister and her French fiance. They came to take their 2012 summer vacation here in the Philippines.Normally, my sister is taking up the vacation in December or February. But for the first time after being a resident in France for 30 years, she came over during Lenten season.

It was 4:30 pm when they were able to exit from the airport.Bernard was too excited to come to the Philippines for the third time. After one hour, the sky was becoming dark so we needed to board the van we rented. We must  get home before midnight. The excitement of Bernard was changed into irritation due to the heavy traffic besides the hot temperature in Manila. The agony was added when the driver missed the right way going the the North Luzon Express way.We roamed around the circle in a heavy traffic in Manila before the driver got the right way.

My sister's stay was  tremendous blessings for us.She always thought of our get together during their less than a month's stay on here. She and Bernard arranged our going to the beach in San Fabian,Pangasinan. We just enjoyed the boating and playing in the salty water. The following Sunday, she invited her former classmates. It was fun eating and mingling with them. The most fun out of it was the opportunity for us to eat together. Then another instant decision was our family trip to Baguio. The van we rented roamed around the city and the last stop was SM Mall. They need to buy some souvenirs they need to give to their friends. At 5 pm, the van just slowly passing again to the Kennon Road, only this time was descending on our way home.I treasure all these opportunities of having funs, trips, bonding and eating together.Very rare opportunities that God had given to us.Now they are just good memories but I still do believe that they will come back again next year together with my niece Stephanie to spend another vacation .Thank you Lord for giving us all these chances and blessings.

My Passion>> for Jesus

When I met Jesus in the year 1985, I was on fire to read my Bible, on fire for the Ministry by doing something good for the kingdom of God.I was bold to share the Gospel. As days passed by I wanted to do more, give more. However I didn't realize that zeal was gradually fading as I feel tired, bored and no time for myself to unwind.I forgot that I am still living physically in this beautiful world, that means I also need physical recreations for a change.
>>So I and a friend decided to meet after our own respective Church Services finished to watch a movie during week-end and trying to satisfy our taste buds by going to different resto after the movie.Aside from that,I and another set of friends went to Christian festival that took place every two years. We loved to go because aside from the pleasure of traveling and watching different Christian artists performing according to their talents and skills, this was also an opportunity for us to explore another places and discover another culture on the other side of the country.I would say France is a beautiful country and rich with historical places.
By giving myself a treat once or twice a month, the boredom was killed and I was able to maintain the zeal for Jesus and doing something good for God' glory ....

My funny experience in the Red Sea,Eilat, Israel

I was working as a caregiver in Jerusalem,Israel in the year 2000. We had 3 days off by that time in May of the same year. My housemates and some other friends from the other flats decided to have a trip to the Red Sea in Eilat and to stay overnight along the seashore. Some brought  almost of their kitchen materials, sleeping bags, coffee and other foods. Since we didn't check in to any place,  it was a problem when the call of nature arose.Well,  if it was a  pee, it wasn't a big deal especially in the morning when most of the people were still in their tents. The group decided to have an early  or sunrise swimming. It was fun.Again it was a problem to find a place to rinse. Then we found one nearby.Again where to hide and change our clothes was a problem, then we decided that  3 people will hold  a towel as a hiding place when one was changing her clothes until all of us finished. Whew, it was fun but also uncomfortable...

In the afternoon the group decided to visit the ocean park. I and another part of the company were really, really need of a rest room.A voiding an embarrassment  of uncontrollable release, at last we found one rest room. We decided to enter quickly. When we entered I noticed that the urinal bowsl were entirely different. What was on our mind were to release the pee so we can receive the comfort. After a long sitting on the "throne",  I was was finished and released a sigh of comfort. I called on  my companion because of our friends were already going to another site. When we were about to exit, I noticed several men standing and urinating.Taken by surprise and I realized our mistake I told my companion..." Let's run!!!!!!!!!!" and we ran fast to avoid embarrassment....Whew, we entered the wrong  rest room. It was for the men hahahahahahah.......

When I met Jesus

It was in 1985 when, I do believe, it wasn't an accident that I met a group of
Filipino women at the church in Rue du Bac,Paris,France. I was just new in France by that time, loaded with
problems from un-employment, lack of finances and no connection to land a job. Because of this situation, the only one whom I can turn to was God. I was Catholic  myself so I made a visit to the Church believing for a miracle to get a job.

In one section of the church, there was a set of paper and pen, wherein you can write your supplication. I, also wrote down my petition. My mind up to the present still clear what I wrote: God, I want to know you. My heart was thirsty for something spiritual. I didn't know about being born again, I didn't know about being re-established  my relationship with God. After I wrote down my wish, something inside me as if telling me to wait and meet the group. Then one woman, I  believe,  was in her early forties came and approached me, inviting me to a Bible Study. I was at first reluctant but curious and posted several questions like:

1. Who is conducting the Bible Study?
2. If this is a catholic teaching?
3.Who are the attendees?

I agreed to go and try. During our first meeting, it was wow! I feel relieved as if all the problems were gone. Some of my questions had been answered but most of all, as if I was very close to God's heart. Since I felt the thirst and hunger in my heart for spiritual matters, I continued to attend the Bible Study until I witnessed how our church grew and how my faith grow along with the teachings. Up to this date, now, I am back home in the Philippines, I am still attached to the Vine. It's only through Him I feel that I have hopes, sense of belonging, true friend and my avenger. I met a brother who is faithful more than any human being I met through out my entire life. I made the decision to follow Him, regardless if I have more  nor I have less.......

You ask not so you have not

My Pastor assigned me to Intercessory Ministry. At first,I want to decline, however, being part of the Church,I don't have the option but to obey.As I was meditating the prayer items for our Night of Power and Prayer Meeting combined, I was reminded by the Holy Spirit concerning our financial status. One reason why Church members can't attend the Sunday Service is due to finances. They reasoned out they don't have money for the fare.As a Christian, it breaks my heart for the simple sacrifice they can do for themselves to have the weekly spiritual feeding. They're missing the spiritual food to battle against trials satan is giving on a daily basis, making them spiritually mal-nourished and no divine strength to face the enemy.
The pastor asked me what were the items we were to pray aside for the anointed Sunday Service, newcomers and back sliders.I told him about the financial need of our church. We can't move forward with out money. So for two months or so we were praying for this matter. We are praying for the source of income for every member. We do also pray that  business men will join our church so they can offer employment for the members. We also praying for the good harvest and indeed we had this second cropping season.
God begins to answer our financial supplications.
We have better rice and corn harvest. One business woman donated a second hand vehicle to our Pastor which the church can use when we have district or area meetings and seminars. And this time we are raising funds for our immediate essential needs of additional musical instruments and power point. To God be the glory. When we begin asking,we are seeing the result. As He said, you have not because you ask not.............................

The key to the kingdom

...any guesses? Its beliefs, but not quite in the sense that you might be referencing it. The key to the kingdom is wrapped up in a conversation that my daughter and I had today. She is five years old, three months from six.

Maddy: Daddy, how do you talk to God?

Shay: He is a friend of mine. Don’t you talk to friends?

Maddy: Yeah, but I see my friends. I never see God.

Shay: That’s the best thing about Jesus. Ever since He started walking with me, I see Him all the time. When I get up, when I drive, when I work, when I play....He’s always around.

Maddy: Even though you can’t see Him?

Shay: Once you’re good friends with Him, you’ll see Him too.

Maddy: When will that happen?

Shay: In the future.

Maddy: Third grade?

My daughter is so awesome. She treats everyone very well and works at helping the world as best she can. She’s in a private Christian school. They discuss faith-based topics in class. She often comes home with questions about faith. I look at it as a great opportunity for her to start out life ahead of the game. Even if she has a different faith as an adult, or no faith, she will go through her younger years knowing that the most powerful force on Earth works on her behalf.

We live in a small house. Maybe 1500 square feet. But its on a decent sized piece of land. So we have a very large backyard. For a long time I have seen some interesting things back there, and in the house. I tell my girls, my wife and daughter, that angels hang out with us. They not only protect us, but they congregate, and they do whatever it is angels do.

I’ve been feeling the presence of angels for a long time. So much so that one of my best books is about them. I don’t talk to them, or worship them, or anything like that. But they are there, and they remind me they are there. They have put a couple things around our property to remind me that one day I’ll be working for God too, but in a different way than I do now. I don’t pledge to have all the answers, but the comfort of knowing God’s servants appreciate my family and what we do on His behalf is very gratifying.

Teach your kids about the Christ! Make sure they start off life on the straight and narrow path. Regardless of mistakes made further down the line, they will always benefit from hearing about the best moral standards that exist. Being close to Jesus at any time of life is a really big deal! I continually pray that everyone eventually gets to know how awesome it is to have God Himself walking around, caring for their loved ones, and rejoicing when they start discussing their blossoming faith.

The future is what the future is. But kids should start off with Jesus. That is the best way to provide them with a stable foundation for the rest of life.

Lots of Christians do not know the kind of power they wield

.
Folks....when you believe....and you are committed....there are no barriers to what you can do!

Let's go over a typical day for....me...since I have no one else to use for something like this. I spend the day creating change in MILLIONS of situations. Not a few....not one or two people....BUT MILLIONS! Not through my own power...but through the energy and skill and talent and faith that Christ has provided me with. I'm a power-packed praying maniac who moves mountains. And I know I do! Which is part of the fun.

I spent lots of time last weekend helping a very important family. Last year I was able to spend time with an old friend...and it was as if 18 years had not even gone by. She was incredible and fun and faithful...and I just loved my time with her. So when her sister needed some advice...I was happy to help. That is just one of the situations though. That is what I'm trying to point out.

There are the physical, in this world situations, and then there are the other challenges that God applies your efforts to. You offer what you have, and He takes that and uses it PERFECTLY! PERFECTLY! You say to Him, use me Lord, for working for you is my greatest joy! And HE DOES IT!!!!

Please, everyone, stretch yourselves. Open your mind to the possibility that you can do lots of miracles every day through our fabulous Lord and Savior. I guarantee you that the rewards are endless.

Beware the jobs that pays well but don't satisfy Christ

Some of you might have followed my job odyssey over the last two years. As you might have noticed, I was holding my opportunities to a very high standard. It took quite a while, but I learned some wonderful lessons from the experience.

Money is great! I’m interested in money generally. I feel like the more I have the more I can help. Thirty four years on this planet seems to have proven that. But the problem with that mantra is that for some people there is no way to achieve it without something I would call a “wasteful job”.

What is your most important asset? It is not your cash, and it is not your family or friends. God beats it, but not by much. Your most important asset is your time! You get a limited amount, it can be easily wasted and usually is, and there is no way to get it back once its gone. Most people waste entire decades! Hopefully I can help you avoid that.

Reaching out to people is a lost art. Having been in many different churches of different denominations, I have discovered that some churches do much more outreach than others. Why does this bother me? Well, first of all, the Internet allows quite a bit of power. When I look at these megachurches, like Rick Warren at Saddleback, and Joel Osteen’s operation, I can’t help but think they really are not working the Internet as much as they should. Let me explain my logic to you.

Do you know how much a prayer ad costs on the Internet? Either through Google, or Facebook, or now Apple? About fifteen cents. So...for fifteen cents, you can target sections of the world where Christianity is sparse. In fact, those parts of the world are even CHEAPER usually. How much did YOU spend on frivolous stuff today? More than fifteen cents probably.

Take a moment. Assess your life. Ask yourself if you are really carrying out the mission that God, and YOU, have always desired for your life. If not...it is time to start a prayer blog. The tools are free and the ads are cheap. There is no reason to delay!

The impossible is possible in Christ Jesus

What strikes your fancy? Do you want to stop wars? Do you want to heal the terminally ill? How about helping your friends and family through ordeals they might be facing?

You have more power than you think you have. You can travel in amazing ways. You can create in miraculous fashion. You can heal like a disciple of Christ would heal. You can do the impossible!

My little five year old daughter is always asking questions. I tell her about Jesus and praying. Every now and then she catches me talking about deeper subjects, but usually her questions are something like, "Do you help people, Daddy?" or "Dad, how do YOU work with God?" Deep questions really. I want to answer them truthfully, but at five she really wouldn't understand. You see, my work is off the charts, and yours can be too.

Right now you are probably locked into your present state of growth. The fact is that there is much more that you could be doing. Through the Holy Spirit you can move in incredible ways, change things in miraculous fashion, and most of all, create more value for the Lord. I know, value. It is such a business term, but it is the best way to phrase it. God wants value out of you. You are an investment in his eyes. He wants you to grow and prosper so you can better serve Him. Don't think so? Try not growing, and see where that takes you.

Folks, I really want the absolute best for you. But on top of that, I want you to get ready to move at a moment's notice, and move in miraculous fashion. I know that lots of folks talk about end times, but I'm not going to pretend to know when or how all of that will go down. I do know one thing though. It is better to be prepared than to be left mired in the sins of this world. I'm not perfect, but I'm actively trying to work with the Lord to create in the fashion that He wants me to create.

Anything is possible! Lie down, close your eyes, and pray for an hour straight with nothing else bothering you. Do things that you think could not be done.

This is a special life you are living. Do not cut yourself short!

Angels
Flying is so pre-birth of Christ.

How deep does it really go? Well, I’m not sure. Beyond proclaiming myself as some expert on things no one is really an expert on, all I can really say is that it is advanced.

When you are going through a busy day, and problems come up, what is your standard statement? “If I only had more hours in the day.” Well, angels DO have that.

Have you ever wanted to know what it would feel like to have a microprocessor inside your head? The most powerful computer on Earth, the one the National Security Administration uses to crack codes from all over the world, probably does not stand a chance when compared to an angel brain. Electricity and water power the human brain, but angel brains...your guess is as good as mine.

Take into account what angels need to do on any given day. They help people, sure, but there are other activities. Popular fiction loves to guess what they do, but until you’re there you probably won’t know. In my Angel Interviews book I take some shots at figuring them out, but there are no guarantees. As far as we can tell, the jobs are infinite, as is the number and type of angels. Keep in mind that only three or four are mentioned by name in the bible. In my opinion the bible would be a lot more informative if we could have gotten more details.

Sometimes when I’m driving, I see them flying next to me. I know I’m not the only one with that experience, but I never tire of it. It makes me feel better, protected I guess. Jesus in the passenger seat, angels surrounding the car. Nice way to travel.

If you were an angel, what is the first thing you would do? My questions would not stop. I would look into everything I could. They get such a great glimpse of a world we never see. It would just be nice to have such an expansive array of new things to learn and enjoy. I want to get to that point so badly, but my human life is very enjoyable, even when challenging.

I’m not so sure that angels have items or need weapons or anything. They most likely just mold this world to do what is needed. It sure would be nice to work like that. My work is all done through requests. Granted, they are always accepted and processed, but I can’t turn bricks into bread. I’m assuming that on top of moving outside of time, and being in multiple places at once, fish and wine is not much of a challenge.

Let your eyes open a little wider sometime. It can make you feel much better

Why apathy can destroy you

Even Christians can become apathetic.

Jesus passed along many lessons during his short ministry. One of them was compassion. That was followed up closely by forgiveness. How have you been doing in those areas?

I feel like I put out quite a bit of effort every day. Some days are better than others. Something that I really have been struggling with lately is my tendency to be apathetic about certain things I can’t control. Is that a problem? Not on the surface, but if I look deep inside myself, it is my number one problem.

I’m sure you have heard the stories about how you should always treat people nicely, on the off chance they are angels in disguise....or Jesus Himself. I have taken that lesson to heart many times. However, other times I dump it in the gutter depending on my mood or current financial situation. What is your experience like with that stuff?

The core problem is that the longer you stay in this world, the less you tend to care about that which you cannot control. In truth, we should all be praying for just about everything every second of every day. Is that possible? Of course. In fact I think I pull that off usually. But is it a perfect system? Probably not, because this place only resembles heaven once you have really been in the spiritual war for a while. After you have escorted enough demons home, and ushered fresh angels in, you really do feel like a citizen of heaven. Then some human problem knocks on your door...and in walks sin. Not every time, sometimes almost never. But it is still there.

So....you have to clean the system, routinely. Without a nice scrubbing on a regular basis, your prayers become tainted. Not tainted in the overly evil way, but in the way that is just powerful enough to derail your prayer. We all want effective prayers, right?

Keep those morning, lunch, and nighttime prayers coming. Make sure to ask for a healthy and pure body, mind, and soul. If you want to, ask Jesus to do it every second. That is probably the most effective method.

You wouldn’t want to step back into the warzone without your halo, would you?

Are you in it for heaven...?

...I'm in it for the Lord! Sound strange? It should not. If you are dedicated, this is the situation.

I do it all day long. I carry out tasks...create better lives...spread miracles...work for others...because the Lord commands it, not for a future reward. Are you operating on an incentive plan? If so...that is not the end of the line. Believe it or not, there is a job waiting for you once you get past that.

What are jobs with the Lord like? Well, the array is pretty large, as you might expect. But the joy? The joy is limitless! Work that satisfies and improves and fixes the world's problems...and follows the Will of God...it does not get any better.

How do you spend your day? Are you working for retirement? Are you working out of fear? Are you working in a semi-slave capacity? Don't want to leave your typical comfort zone? Folks...the leap of faith is waiting for you, and the reward is huge.

Let's compare your day to something that I might be involved in. Four accounts processed? How about you compare that with limitless miracles completed? I know, I'm crazy, right? This is the dialogue that an insane man would present? Just look at that for a while. Instead of grinding till death, I am instead providing the juice it takes to fire up blessings for all those around me, and their friends, and their family. But that's not what people are supposed to do? Folks..this is 2010. God is coming back soon. Don't for a second trick yourself into thinking that people like me are not on every corner, because we are.

Now, at this point I could go on about the war with Satan...yadda, yadda, yadda...you have all heard it before. But what I am going to tell you to do is inspect how you are spending your time...if you are not working with Christ

You are imprisoned but we know how to fix

Your thoughts are forced along the same pattern every day. Your weekly routine is the same every week. If you have kids, you go through similar trials every day. If you are married or with someone, you notice how each year becomes a little less interesting than before. When you hit somewhere around forty years of age or so...you realize that you are an energy unit! You are being processed, you’ve always been processed, and once you leave this life....yep, more processing.

Would you like some control? That would be refreshing, don’t you think?

Taking the bull by the horns can be hard. In fact, the reason you have not been able to do it so far is because you STUDY Jesus, but you do not WALK ON WATER like He does! What does it take to pull that trick off? How about an open mind, to start with!

Did you ever take a minute to realize that maybe some of the Christian lessons you received over the years were just plain boring and unnecessary? Some of them are not only engineered to KEEP YOU IN YOUR RUT.....but they DISCOURAGE CREATIVITY and EXCITEMENT! At this point in life...aren’t you interested in some unique experiences?

I started my adventure back to real life by understanding why I was following Jesus in the first place. I wanted to create the kind of effect that He did. I never had a desire to do everything He did, but I really did want those miracles! The miracles always looked so good to me. I wanted to throw them around, spin them this way and that, and bless those who really could use them. So you know what I did? Every day, I asked for the ability to do that kind of thing. I also worked very hard to prove to God that I was worthy of such power.

For over four years I was counselor to the world, running a huge advice site. I answered many thousands of emails. And you know what? It worked! Sometime in there, I discovered that I could create a miraculous u-turn for a complete stranger just with a few practical tips and a prayer or two. Sound simple? It was! And it can be for you too!
What’s the deal? Why do you do it? Did your own choices put you into this kind of life? Or did circumstances force it on you? Wondering how to escape? Jesus is the god of u-turns. That’s all He does! Everything about Christianity comes back to the transformation that occurs when you really start believing. I hate to break it to you, but if you’re in crisis mode 24-7, then you are missing the real joy of Christ. Cut out an hour of your day. Start there. Reserve it for more sleep or more fun. Is a relationship creating the stress? There are always other options. I have seen good marriages and I’ve seen bad. I believe in staying with your spouse till the end, but I don’t believe in constant suffering due to spousal discontent. God loves happy marriages, but He does not believe in abuse. If you are getting abused physically or emotionally....seek professional help. I love working with people who think things will not improve. They are really only experiencing an imprisoned perspective. The world has tricked them into accepting average. No one needs to be average. We can all have enjoyable lives filled with prosperity, love, and a great relationship with God. This world can produce constant win-wins! There does not HAVE to be a loser, although lots of people have become convinced of that. Interested in really turning up your success level? Interested in exiting crisis mode permanently? Start by looking through our archive. After you can see the kind of information we routinely provide, we hope that will convince you to send more people our way, so the circle of joy and success and love can continue to grow

The interior devil

It gets lots of attention in comedy shows and movies. The angel on one should, the demon on the other. Is there truth to it?

Yep. He can shove himself into your head as easily as you can overlook him. Thoughts that you have classified as normally were really just his suggestions. Have you ever heard one of those stories where a killer says, "The devil made me do it!" Not far from the truth.

You are the one in control, but the suggestions never stop. If you think you will reach a point where they don't come up at all, you are PROBABLY wrong. Why is it like this? How do you stop it?

You slow down. The evil thoughts play out in easier fashion when you are rushing your life and not monitoring your thoughts so much. So be at peace, examine your mind routinely, and then clean out what seems to be evil.

Yes, some of you will have trouble with this. That is because he provides simple suggestions sometimes, like "One more drink won't hurt." After you have already had several. Or, "The boss is not looking, lets goof off for a few minutes." It can be really simple, very basic stuff.

I can guarantee you that a long, awesome relationship with someone of the opposite sex will not last if you do not get REALLY good at wiping out those suggestions. Marriage just takes too much discipline. You won't succeed otherwise. So start now, because you'll need it in the future.

God's voice

No one gets it. If you think you get it, maybe you do, because without that belief, you don’t stand a chance at getting any farther.

When did I start hearing God....pretty young I guess. That’s what weekly church from age five will do. And I listened. I really did. I paid attention. I had a religious studies class. I spent good time with good people. And over time I developed what I still consider to be....a decent connection to God’s voice.

I hear Him maybe....once or twice a day. Sometimes He starts things, sometimes I do. He always speaks to me really, but I need to be able to filter out everything else in order to pick up on Him. Obviously it is easier when you’re relaxed, maybe getting ready for bed or something. But I kind of prefer to have Him just jump into my thoughts. He’s more useful that way. And that’s okay. He WANTS to be useful. He WANTS to help. He created us so the entire system can LEARN more. He might know everything already, but He still enjoys teaching His kids, as I’m sure you parents can appreciate.

Some folks just look at Him as their conscience. That’s kind of lacking, in my opinion. I guess you can do that angel/demon discussion as much as you want, but you won’t really get the real info. Debating a topic is not nearly as fun as learning how to create miracles. And somehow I’ve managed that. Through my connection to Christ I can really do some phenomenal things...because I’m not the one doing them.

Just listen carefully, folks. That’s the only instruction you need. I guess some church services and some bible study helps, but people do it without that anyway. And some are better at this than others, but the truth is that God reveals Himself to all things at all times. The only people who don’t receive Him are those who voluntarily choose not to.

I love working with Him. I really love the master/servant relationship. It works so incredibly well. How would you like to have a boss who trains you while you sleep? How would you like to have a boss who knows exactly how you feel, and then ADJUSTS the WORLD to better fit your mission. That would be....NICE....don’t you think?

God is amazing. Hearing Him can make you fall to your knees in tears some times. But you know what? The nicest thing about discussing things with God is that the dialogue never ends. And after a while you won’t want it to. Because it ends the worst pain we ever experience...and that’s loneliness.

Flying is so pre-birth of Christ.

Do you believe in luck?

I do not anymore. I believe that the events that unfold in my life are the direct result of my thoughts and actions. I believe that the timing of events that I'm involved in are a free flowing result of God's interaction in my life.

I put a lot of waves out there, meaning that I'm so active in the prayer realm, that I end up touching lots of people and intentions and connections. I just think life is best lived that way. But I also accept the push-back from the enemy. It is an obvious occurrence. When it occurs in strong fashion, it stands out more than anything else. BUT...it is also proof of my effectiveness.

If you are an active Christian, meaning that you pray a lot and share your faith a lot, you should also be getting some push-back. Love that. Accept it. And then turn up the dial even more. That's what God wants from his best servants. We are not here just to have fun. We are sent by a divine being to engage the body of evil in a very real and powerful way. Don't for a second think that non-Christians do this. It is ALL left up for us. ALL OF IT! So turn up the volume.

I am with all of you! This is not your typical prayer group. We provide a lot more than just prayer. This is a place where undeniable power flows right from the Son through the Holy Spirit and into us. You are being given free reign to effect changes that you might not have been involved with before.

Luck? Nope. You are here because God NEEDS you to be here.

I'm determined to keep fighting for Christ

I almost did not write a devotional tonight. Then I got a call from a wonderful friend and minister in Toronto, who wanted to relate to me the success he has been having with the folks I have been sending him for job counseling. The results? Absolutely phenomenal! In less than two weeks, I've sent him almost 20 referrals, and almost everyone is on their way to a better job situation. Does your local church do that?

I am just so fired up! God is working in so many awesome ways. I started the system on a whim, hoping to get a person every few days. But now it is around 10 a day! Gosh, it just shows what can happen when sincere Christians reach out and help those they can. I never expected to even have the resources to pull it off, but after I had the idea, the options started flowing from everywhere. People just...well...showed up! A counselor here, an expert there...even attorneys! Can you believe it?

Well, folks, every day I feel honored to be a part of such wonderful work. Christ is moving in powerful ways. I feel like there is no end to this particular part of the ministry. I have always had a passion for helping others, especially through the Internet, and success like this makes me feel like all the personal sacrifice lately has been worth it. Maybe the reason I don't have a conventional job is because God would rather have me doing this.

I would not be surprised. With the Lord, the real servants never stop working, but then again, we would not have it any other way!

Don't blame yourself if your faith feels low

Don't blame yourself if your faith feels low

Circumstances can really hurt sometimes. I've been out of work for almost two years.

Lots of folks center in on this concept...this lack of faith. They point to different things in their lives and they say, "Well, if God is not helping me with this, I'm not going to be the kind of servant I should be." Invariably bad decisions and inappropriate actions usually follow. But there is a way around that.

When things fall apart, and they always do from time to time, the best strategy to take is this: be a student. Obviously my family is not thrilled that I have not been working. However, I routinely point out all the great lessons we are learning from this experience. We are not wasting money like we used to. We have streamlined our budget. We think twice whenever we spend money. Those are valuable lessons!

This happens to churches, too. Our church has done the exact same thing because donations are down. They have figured out ways to cut costs and improve the way they do business. Every single human being on Earth goes through this at some point, if it is not their household, it is their employer, or a relative, or.....some aspect of life. Something always goes wrong, and we're left with the challenge of succeeding anyway.

Jesus knew this kind of thing best. Obviously, being who He was, He completely understood what He was going through, but still, even on the cross, He wondered why things were so bad. And what was the result? He succeeded anyway, because the Father was in complete control and made sure everything worked out.

I'm not about to tell you that their is an easy solution to everything. But I CAN promise that God will always offer a way to fix things. It just might require more sacrifice than you prefer.

Spiritual warfare and the best way to deal with it

I don’t deal with it anymore, usually. My work has been outsourced to a greater power - Christ.

Did you expect me to say something different? Sure, I run into the random situation, and may do a few things, but I could not bear the burden of all of it. Thankfully I’m a Christian, therefore most of my work is done for me.

Its a big draw! You might see folks from other religions spending hours at prayer each day, just to keep their head in the game and their soul safe. I’m not a big fan of that. I like to enjoy this world. I like to bounce around, doing whatever God draws me to do. Therefore, my sword stays in its sheath and my wings hang in the closet most of the time.

Take a moment to audit what you have in your arsenal. Then ask yourself why you need any of it. Is all that built up stuff really helping you? Or does your prayer regimen and bibles and crosses just take up space? The real action comes from inside you. The real progress is made in a subconscious way. You can do as much as you like, but you’ll never get past the point where you might get more done while you sleep. Sleeping is powerful! Peaceful rest is powerful! The enemy would rather you stay up all night, burdened by your stress from the day. So outsource what you can, and let your soul do the work while you sleep.

Take advantage of the tools around you. The bible is great, for sure, but even greater is quiet time. I used to spend a few HOURS in the JACUZZI each day. It did WONDERS for my tortured soul. After rest like that I was able to pop back into whatever conflict was around. Now, I don’t bother with either step. Other heavenly systems deal with it. I have “earned my wings” you might say. I don’t need to even do the little fighting that I do. And the fighting isn’t even fighting, it is more like reporting, explaining to God things here and there that might need attention. As I’ve told you before, He ALWAYS listens and He ALWAYS acts. You just might not understand it. Goodness knows I don’t always get it.

Take your day, slice it up into pieces, and then remove what time wasters are stuck in there. Insert more relaxing. The devil hates it when you relax. There is nothing he would like better than for you to be routinely stressed. Drop that problem by gaining more time, like I spoke of yesterday. Speed up your day by doing less. It really does work....guaranteed.

Spiritual warfare is a topic that can go on forever, because every religion and philosophy has their own opinions. In truth, it is just a matter of relaxation beating out stress. Most conflicts don’t go farther than that. If you can relax at the drop of a dime regardless of the problem....you are on the right track.

Demanding the best

What’s the difference between Christians and non-Christians? Christ demands the best from us. Non-Christians run through life not even knowing the difference between heaven bound and a box in the ground.

My life in high school included lots of religious debate, mainly with pseudo-Christians, pseudo-Buddhists, and pseudo-Jews. Obviously the reason I preface everything with pseudo is because kids would usually say, “Yeah, my parents drag me to services, but I’m not really into it.” Then they would proceed to talk about their car, girlfriend, or the latest hot movie.

Why is this a problem? Kids don’t take benchmarks seriously, unless it revolves around a tangible reward. Heaven is a very non-tangible reward....to kids. They can see it, but their understanding of it is usually weak, and if challenged, they cannot really explain what it is. Why is this a problem?

Its the carrot. You guys have heard me talk about the carrot before. Heaven is the carrot that Christianity holds in front of the donkey (you) to get you to move that first hoof forward. Don’t take this as a knock. Its not. Its really just an accurate representation of a typical human being. As humans, we chase our food, we chase our sex, and we chase our money. Getting out of that cycle takes a really big reward, and heaven is the only one that fits the bill. Why is that?

Its the best. Its the best that can be offered. There is nothing better. Perfect circumstance. Perfect existence. Perfect joy. No pain. No enemies. No nothing, except exactly what makes you happy. And yet, guess what? The best forego heaven. The best sign up for tours of duty.

Do you really think the most effective souls are just circling God, enjoying His warmth and love? No. They are sent out on missions. Why? They request them. They care about the cause we all work for, and so they are sent to make a change in the system. What’s the system? A more accurate question is what’s not the system.

Understand one thing about your time in a physical state. Understand that its short, its not yours, and you will be held accountable for how you spent it. Levels of heaven? Levels of hell? Folks....no one really knows. No one. Wipe out the chance in the equation and just do the best you possibly can.

God needs the best. Be the best. Be the Jesus in the room.

Are you always running in crisis mode?

After you can see the kind of information we routinely provide, we hope that will convince you to send more people our way, so the circle of joy and success and love can continue to grow!

Flying

Today my daughter asked if I can fly. She does this every now and then, since she's five years old. I tell her what I always tell her: "Maddy, Daddy flies whenever God needs him to." And then she always says..."Dadddd....stop joking!" How nice it would be if it all really WAS a joke.

The plain facts are that when you are on God's team, you do things other folks don't really talk about. Do you think, even for a minute, that priests and ministers spend ALL those years studying (sometimes more than a decade) just so they can lay out a nice speech on Sundays? C'mon, folks! There is more to it than that!

I work for God. Indentured servant. Recruited by Christ. In this role for eternity. So...how would I get from here to the jobs without some divine transportation? How would anything get done in the Kingdom of God? Without His miracles...nothing happens. But...when He calls...I go...in whatever way is necessary.

I don't support the concept of testing God. I don't support the concept of trying to break the natural laws of this planet. But you know what I do support? The active attempts to discover what is not discussed openly. If you think for a minute that the true clerics of this world don't have completely different kinds of discussions when it is JUST THEM in a PRIVATE CONFERENCE ROOM...you are probably just being naive.

This world has all kinds of opportunity. If you want to serve God in miraculous ways...just tell Him that's what you would like to do. Who knows...maybe I'll bump into you on the next mission. :)

Are you in it for heaven....?

...I'm in it for the Lord!

Lots of Christians do not know the kind of power THEY wield...

Avoid settling

Have you ever sat down in church and wondered if you were even in the right place? Did you spend an hour or two hours listening to readings and talks, but feel like your time would have been better spent somewhere else? Well, if you haven't, I have.

Ministers and pastors have to put a lot of work into doing their jobs. They work with people all week, they handle the administration of the church, and some pastors are also married. What do you think that means from week to week? It means that the true message, the powerful information, sometimes gets mucked up in the normal grind of life.

I'm not here to go on and on in a criticism of full-time pastors, but I do believe in this: If a pastor does not produce a quality message on a regular basis...reconsider where you are spending your time. After doing church for years and years, I took some time off. I did a lot of reading, I created lots of projects, and when I was ready to come back, I did. Now, I was 18, and I would never suggest that anyone avoid church regularly, but the idea is normal. Just like businessmen need sabbaticals and leaves of absence, so too do people need to experience other messages. The most popular Christian denomination in the world, Catholicism, has several churches in every large market. If one priest does not work for you, switching is a piece of cake.
